How will my order be delivered?
Orders are delivered either as parcels or on pallets.
Parcels are normally picked when smaller items like valves are ordered or light weight radiators / towel radiators are ordered. These will be delivered to your door as they are lightweight packages. Parcel delivery drivers may leave parcels with a neighbour, leave in a safe place or deliver to a local collection point; either at a local depot or shop, if no-one is available to take delivery at the specified address.
Pallet deliveries are normally used for large or heavy items such as column radiators. We would also use pallet delivery when the number of items on an order makes delivery more efficient via a pallet service due to the overall weight or size of the order.
Pallet deliveries are made by Palletways to an accessible kerbside delivery point location on firm ground to the nearest point to the delivery address. If there is an accessible delivery point that can be safely accessed using a pump truck then, at the delivery driver’s discretion, the pallet may be left there.
As the pallet will be moved by a manually operated fork truck, we cannot collect or deliver pallets on gravel drives, steep hills or to locations not at ground level.
Please ensure that the named contact is available at the delivery point to meet the driver. A 2-hour delivery slot will be confirmed by our couriers on the morning of delivery.
Should you not wish to receive your items on a pallet as standard then please select the two-person delivery service where it is available. The two-person delivery service provides delivery over the threshold of a front entrance into your home (e.g. into a hallway or a garage).

Do you accept returns?
All unused or unwanted items can be returned within 28 days for a full refund, providing it is returned in original packaging and in a re-sellable condition. Sale / Clearance items may be non-returnable. Please email sales@houseofheating.co.uk if you have any questions about returning items.
